Whilst learning the values of relationships from my father Mr. M.S. Vohra, our Chairman Emeritus, I have dedicated my business life to operate an organisation that has a solid foundation.

My focus has been on reliability and unfailing commitments which are made each time we take up a job, whether it is on behalf of our Worldwide partners or on behalf of a Customer. After all, we have survived the “highs and lows” of the Shipping Industry with strength and determination.

Our story begins during the boom days of the Persian Gulf in the 70's when we started our career as Ship Chandlers under the banner of Vohra Agencies established by my father.

In the early 80's along with my brothers Shahid, Zahid and Khalid; we graduated to become a Shipping Agent and a Chartering Broker as Sai Shipping.

Sai Freight was initially established to act as the forwarding arm of the group and having grown from strength to strength Sai Freight has closely worked with International Forwarders such as Lep, Thyssen Haniel & Zuest Ambrosetti. Since then, Sai Freight has achieved a global position by setting up joint venture partnerships & representing over 500 active Associates. We are very particular about forming of partnerships and each potential partner is chosen carefully, based on their capabilities, compatibilities and performance, for which we spare no effort.

Sai Freight represents various ship owners of repute providing break bulk / shipping agency services at all major & minor ports in India based on economical disbursement accounts and quick turn around of vessels whether they come to India for loading or discharging operations.

Our wide range of activities makes us “Total Logistic Specialists”, offering tailor made solutions. We are capable of providing competitive rates based on superior services. Our ability to pick up shipments or deliver them anywhere in the world or in India has enabled us to offer “Factory To Shelf" concepts.
